Camembert Frit with Black Currant Sorbet

The classic fried Camembert is delicious and creamy inside, with a crispy, crunchy exterior. In this version, I’ve replaced the traditional black currant jam with Kastbergs powerful Black Currant Sorbet, which provides the desired counterbalance in this classic dish. The creamy taste of the fried Camembert is balanced with a subtle tartness from the cheese itself. This tang adds complexity to the dish by creating a balance between the salty and creamy flavors.
