Black Currants from Midtjylland

In this sorbet, we use large, juicy Ben Tron black currants from Kjellerup in Midtjylland. The process we use for creating our fruit-based sorbets is the same as with others, where we slowly thaw 10 kg of frozen berries in a 20L bucket with a layer of sugar on top. This method ensures a true, deep flavor of the black currants.

After thawing, the berries are blended and sorted before being made into a delicious, creamy sorbet that captures the intense taste of the black currants. This sorbet is highly suitable for desserts, and can be served as both a scoop or quenelle.

The flavor is bold and tangy, making it perfect for a refreshing summer cone or as a complement to a sweet dessert.
