Coffee Ice Cream for Coffee Lovers

For all coffee enthusiasts, we’ve created Kastbergs Espresso Honey Ice Cream. The base is a creamy ice cream made with milk and cream from a local dairy, enhanced with the finest espresso from Peter Larsen Kaffe in Viborg, and finished with honey to balance the bitterness.

The honey used is particularly special—it’s harvested locally in and around Herning and Midtjylland. Its sweet and distinctive flavor is the perfect complement to the espresso, softening its bitterness, so the ice cream captures all the goodness of the coffee.

Both key ingredients in this ice cream are sourced from local producers, exemplifying one of the core values we at Kastbergs hold dear: shopping locally whenever possible. These ingredients are of exceptional quality, and even though coffee can’t be harvested in Denmark, we make a point of supporting local businesses. The honey, however, is as local as it gets, with some of the producer’s hives even located on our own premises here in Herning.

The ice cream is delicious both as a scoop in a cone or as a quenelle in a dessert.
