Salted Caramel
The sweet and salty flavor first became known in 1977 when French confectioner Henri Le Roux from Quiberon developed the taste by adding his hometown’s famous salted butter to caramel. Since then, salted caramel has taken the dessert world by storm.
Kastbergs’ interpretation of salted caramel ice cream has the perfect rounded flavor of salted caramel—neither too much nor too little, just right.
